Engineer – Mechanical, Chemical, Nuclear, Civil, Electrical, Facilities or Industrial

　　Place of Performance: Reston, VA

　　JFL Consulting, LLC is seeking a full-time Engineer with a strong background in mechanical, chemical, nuclear, civil, electrical, facilities or industrial engineering to join our highly specialized team that is supporting a Department of Defense’s Counter-Weapons of Mass Destruction (WMD) program.  Must have the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and diligently complete mission objectives. 　　Required Skills and Qualifications

　　Possess a bachelor’s degree in engineering or a related technical field. In lieu of a degree, with at least five (5) years of directly related operational experience may be a substitute. 

　　Have a working knowledge of one or more utility systems (to include cooling, heating, ventilation, industrial water, wastewater, power, inert gas, compressed/instrument air, hydraulic, and/or fuel systems).

　　Working proficiency in using computer systems and software programs.  Willing and able to learn modeling software on the job.

　　Possess excellent written and verbal communication skills. Applicant will be required to produce written technical reports, presentations and give briefings to technical and non-technical personnel. 

　　Desired Skills and Qualifications

　　Minimum of 5 years in either designing, installing, maintaining, optimizing and/or repairing multiple industrial systems (mechanical, electrical, and/or controls, etc.).

　　Working proficiency in engineering and/or modeling software.

　　Experience designing, installing, maintaining and/or repairing multiple industrial systems (mechanical, electrical, HVAC, controls, etc.).

　　Experience designing, constructing or assessing building structures and/or infrastructure.

　　Experience designing, constructing or assessing hardened or underground structures and/or infrastructure.

　　Other Requirements and Qualifications

　　Must be a U.S. citizen

　　Must possess TS/SCI clearance

　　Eligible to take a CI polygraph

　　Travel: Up to 10% travel required and the ability to travel on short notice
