Job Description:Software Engineer works effectively across the entiresoftware development life cycle. This includes requirements definition,prototyping, detailed design, coding, testing, deployment, andsupport of the day-to-day operation of production systems.
The Software Engineer is expected to collaborate with technical staff,management, and business operations staff throughout all phases of thesoftware development life cycle in order to deliver working solutions tocomplex business problems according to agreed upon timelines and budgets tosupport the mission, vision, and values of Intermountain Healthcare.
The staff role is a journey-level professional in most aspects of softwareprogramming and development. Abilities encompass a broad knowledge within thesoftware development domain. Typically implements designs developed byothers, adhering to enterprise standards and best practices.
Functions independently and produces results that meet standards of quality,timeliness, and acceptability with minimal supervision and generaldirection. Works as a team player, providing ideas and support to peers andthe development team leadership.
Designs, develops, troubleshoots, debugs, and implements software codeDevelop self-serve Radar, Cogito SQL, Slicer dicer datasets with end userunderstandable output visualizations
Extracts data that use SSIS
Candidate will query SQL Server databases using T-SQL.Builds solutions and workflows, user interfaces, makes recommendations tominimize upgrade impact. Works assigned ticketing and queue.Participate in all phases of required implementations, includinginstallation, configuration, customization, integration, and datamigration. Creates documentation needed by analysts and implementationpartnersParticipates in software product definition, including business case, gapanalysis, specifications and requirements analysis. Researches, tests,builds, and coordinates the integration of new products per production andclient requirements. Feasibility and cost benefit analysis, decides uponapplication architecture and framework, develops accurate implementationtimeliProvides quality assurance of unit testing, including defining/supportingacceptance testing and gathering feedback from pre-release testers.Participates in software release and post-release activities, includingsupport of product launch (e.g. developing demonstrations and/or samples).
Minimum QualificationsRequiredHigh School Diploma or equivalent requiredTwo years of experience in healthcare, technology or related field is required
