As a CIBMTR ITProject Manager, you will work as an integral member of the CIT teamthat supports the mission of the Center for International Blood & MarrowTransplant Research (CIBMTR) to advance transplant and cellular therapyresearch to improve patient survival and enrich their quality of life.This position is responsible for planning, directing, and monitoringspecific CIBMTR support and/or information systems projects to supportthe organization\'s goals. The Project Manager is responsible formaintaining strong customer relationships, providing direction to ITteam members, coordinating among functional groups, and delivering highquality business solutions. Responsibilities: Participate inestablishing and executing Division operating procedures to facilitatethe accomplishment of approved goals and objectives within desiredlevels of productivity, cost and quality standards. Collaborate withscientific, business and technology leadership to understand CIBMTRoperational requirements and strategic direction. Collaborate withInformation Security Team to follow information system securityrequirements consistent with CIBMTR contractual and complianceobligations. Identify, document and translate user needs and businessrequirements to system features and functions. Develop accurate projectestimates and plans that include effort, duration, cost, and resourceswhich reflect approved scope and requirements for all phases of aproject. Effectively utilize project management tools, techniques, andceremonies to ensure risks, issues and roadblocks are identified,understood, and resolved. Establishes and implements projectcommunication plans, providing status accurately reported tostakeholders and delivered within scope, resources, and time. Documentsand tracks project milestones; manages and accounts for unforeseendelays, realigns schedules and expectations as needed. Lead andfacilitate work groups and teams, involving cross-departmental andcross-organizational participants. Implements policies and proceduresfor Division operation.
