ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Performindependent design of software modules and sub-systems. Design, write,debug, test and integrate software modules into larger systems. Researchand Develop software/firmware utilizing C and C++. Support all phases ofengineering to ensure projects run smoothly and target dates are metManage concepts from ideation to completion by orchestrating a varietyof roles, responsibilities, technologies and partnerships. Attend fieldtrips to install/troubleshoot software prototypes (possible overnighttravel). EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE QUALIFICATIONS: This position requiresa Bachelor\'s of Science in Software Development, Computer Science orElectrical engineering, and a minimum of two years related experienceand/or training. Proven experience with firmware design, in both C andC++ Working knowledge of embedded software development tool chainsWorking knowledge of the Software Development Life cycle. Ability tocommunicate effectively with groups that include but are not limited tomanagement, coworkers, vendors, contractors, or clients. Be able toidentify problems, perform analysis and offer solutions. Strongcommunication skills within the development team and with crossfunctional teams. Product liability awareness, and excellentdecision-making abilities. Be able to work independently or work as partof a team. Be able to be self-reliant when needed and be able toresearch or learn new design concepts. Strong computer skills, includingLinux.
