　　Perform a vital part of the patient care process through examining prepared slides with the microscope to detect evidence of abnormalitiesKeep records of work performed on daily basisWork in a fast-paced laboratory environmentChampion safety, compliance, and quality control

　　All you need is:

　　NYS cytotechnologist license Graduation from an accredited school of cytology1 year of laboratory training or experience performing high complexity testingCytotechnologist certification by the American Society of Clinical PathologistsStrong reading, writing, and analytical skillsAbility to operate general laboratory equipment, including but not limited to: telephones, computers

　　This role will have routine access to Protected Health Information (PHI). Employees will be trained on reasonable safeguards and are expected to maintain strict confidentiality, as well as abide by all applicable privacy and security standards. Employees are expected only to access PHI when it is required to fulfill job duties.

　　Salary minimum to max is $40.00 to $57.00 per hour. Pay is commensurate with experience; geographic differentials to the pay range may apply.

　　Sonic Healthcare USA, reserves the right to pay more or less than the posted range. Any difference between actual compensation and the posted range will be based on factors other than race, color, religion, sex (including pregnancy) or national origin.
