　　Job Description:

　　The primary purpose of the Design Engineer position is to determine, verify and produce all the necessary drawing details required to manufacture the products provided by the company.

　　Key Responsibilities

　　· Create production ready drawings by interpreting design concepts

　　· Maintain engineering designs consistent with value engineered production methods

　　· Evaluates design(s) for structural integrity

　　· Proactively research and integrate new materials and technology into the products that IMG manufactures.

　　· Coordinate and lead prototype efforts for new products

　　· Collaborate with IMG team members to improve processes and procedures used within the company

　　Qualifications

　　· Proficient in SolidWorks with AutoCAD experience

　　· Experience designing enclosures from Aluminum Extrusions

　　· Ability to maintain schedules

　　· Understanding of Aluminum/Steel/Plastic Materials

　　· Understanding of Structural and Functional design

　　· Knowledge of manufacturing equipment such as CNC Routers and Breaks

　　· Ability to work in a team environment

　　· Ability to be a problem solver and solution provider

　　Is a plus but not required

　　· BS in Engineering (Mechanical/Industrial)

　　Top Skills Details:

　　Solidworks Experience

　　Aluminum Extrusions

　　Enclosures specifically/steel framing/aluminum framing

　　Knowledge of manufacturing equipment such as CNC Routers or Press Brakes

　　Additional Skills & Qualifications:

　　*Secondary Skills (Nice to haves)

　　-AutoCAD

　　-Plastics

　　-Experience in the sign industry

　　Not looking for manufacturing from assembly lines

　　Not looking for electrical experience

　　Experience Level:

　　Intermediate Level

　　Atleast 5 years experience with Solidworks, extrusions, and steel.
