What Will You Be Doing?
The Data Center Engineer will perform the following activities:
Support Data Center compute and networking, Hyperflex, Storage, ACI, Cloud, and Automation technologiesTransformation of existing infrastructure into modern solutionsConfigure, deploy and troubleshoot Cisco products and solutions. Drives problem resolution for issues experienced in the environment.Diagnoses, troubleshoots, and resolves incidents related to Cisco products, services, or solutions.Provides answers for products, services, or solutions questions.Creates or updates, and delivers problem resolution, project collateral and/or knowledge transfer.Assists in documenting and resolving technical problems found in products and solutions.Engages and drives appropriate resources for escalations.Maintains accurate documentation in incident and knowledge management systems.Ensures case management guidelines are followed.Effectively communicates (verbal and written) with the customer and Cisco stakeholders on status and progress of service requests
Education and Experience Requirements
10+ years demonstrated large Data Center environment experience with solutions like ACI, UCS, and HyperflexExcellent interpersonal skills, outstanding oral and written communication skills, good organizational skills, ability to work in a team and work independently. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related discipline.
Required Certifications
Comp TIA Security+ Computing environment certificationCompleted CCIE Desired, completed written will considered.
