　　We are currently recruiting for Shovel Operators. We are offering this role on a 7:7:7:7 (7 days on, 7 days off, 7 nights on, 7 days off) roster where you can drive in and out of site!

　　The Shovel Operator, operates the shovels, loaders and excavators as directed in a safe, effective and efficient manner to meet operational requirements

　　The role:

　　Operate a variety of mobile equipment within the shift to ensure optimum productivity in a safe and efficient manner

　　Operate 230 tonne dump truck

　　50 tonne water truck

　　Identification of potential hazards or work practices/procedures requiring corrective action

　　Contribute to and participate in a flexible and motivated production crew, committed to the achievement of quality production goals

　　Ensure all machinery is safe to operate

　　About you:

　　W.A. “HR” Class driver’s license

　　Appropriate certificates of competency

　　Previous heavy earthmoving experience

　　Familiarity with open cut mining/quarry operations

　　Previous experience in the mining industry

　　Self motivated and disciplined

　　Sound communication skills

　　Flexibility

　　Able to fit into varied groups – team player
