Description

We are on the search for a meticulous Data Entry Clerk to assist a growing accounting team to be based in Chattanooga, Tennessee! This position offers a contract to permanent employment opportunity where you will primarily focus on high-volume data entry tasks. The role encompasses processing customer payments, maintaining and reconciling customer accounts, and entering a daily log of data for customer records. Position will also help with generating reports for internal and customer requests, as needed.

Responsibilities:

• Accurately and efficiently process a high number of daily customer payments

• Maintain precise customer records

• Enter information received from the accounting department into QuickBooks

• Generate necessary financial reports

• Handle high volume data entry tasks

• Ensure accurate data entry for all expenses and deposits

• Perform account reconciliations in case of discrepancies

• Utilize 10 Key Skills and QuickBooks for data entry and financial reporting tasks.

Requirements

• Proficiency in 10 Key Skills

• Ability to perform calculations with accuracy and speed

• Experience in high-volume data entry

• Proficiency in QuickBooks software

• Capability to generate and interpret financial reports

• Bachelor's degree in Accountancy or related field (preferred)

• Strong attention to detail and high level of accuracy

• Excellent time management skills

• Strong verbal and written communication skills

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Understanding of confidentiality obligations and data protection laws

• Proficiency in using Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
