　　Main Job Purpose:

　　This role will be responsible for designing, developing, and implement robust and scalable data engineering solutions. Also, the role will collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements and ensure the delivery of efficient solutions that drive data-driven analysis and decision-making throughout Unilever.

　　Accountable for:

　　• Collaborate closely with data scientists, analysts, and other teams to understand data requirements and provide Azure-based solutions that meet their needs.

　　• Design and develop scalable, reliable, and efficient data solution on Azure, leveraging components such as Azure Data Factory, Azure Databricks, Azure SQL Database, Azure Synapse Analytics, and others.

　　• Implement and maintain data pipelines using Azure Data Factory, ensuring efficient and reliable data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) processes.

　　• Provide technical leadership and guidance to other team members, conduct code reviews, and actively participate in architectural discussions.

　　• Stay up to date with the latest Azure data engineering technologies and best practices, and proactively recommend and implement improvements to existing processes.

　　• Ensure to adopt the Unilever guidelines and best practice in any development.

　　• Maintain up to date the Data Catalog.

　　• Create clear documentation about the developments

　　• Data Project Management of their projects.

　　• Desirable to understand data requirements for connection to other solutions as Power BI

　　• Participate in negotiations with partners to obtain on data requirements

　　Experience and Knowledge:

　　• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field

　　• Proven experience as a Data Engineer or in similar roles, with a focus on designing and developing data engineering solutions on the Azure cloud platform.

　　• Strong programming skills, with proficiency in languages such as Azure, Python, SQL, or Scala, and experience in implementing data engineering workflows using Azure Data Factory. Optional Power BI and SAP

　　• Solid understanding of data modeling techniques, schema design, and query optimization on Azure platforms.

　　• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to identify and address performance and scalability issues.

　　• Excellent communication skills and the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams.

　　• Advanced/Fluent English required.
