Duties, Tasks and Responsibilities
Have DOE Q clearance, DOD TS, or be able to obtain a DOE Q clearanceUS Citizenship (no dual citizenship permitted)Review completion and implementation of systems additions and/or enhancements, and recommend corrections in technical application and analysis to managementMajority of workload will consist of visually inspecting hardware systems for component faults/failures, procuring replacements and installing sameResponsibilities will be spread across two data centers in Las Vegas, NVAble to lift 50lbs or more, repeatedly during hardware rack and stackExperienced in the use of server lifts, crash carts, scissor table liftsInvestigate and acquire high-quality safety equipment when requiredConduct periodic audits and inspectionsPerform infrequent escort duties for vendors and Data Center Security/Environmental PersonnelHave Uninterruptable Power Supply (UPS) cabling, monitoring, troubleshooting experienceMinimum two years' data center experienceExcellent verbal/written communication skills; Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, AcrobatBachelor's Degree in a related field with appropriate background and knowledge of current industry technologies/standards for enterprise networks. Four years of experience can be used as a substitution for degree.Five (5) years of work experience in computer and information technology related fieldPreferred Experience, Education, Skills and Technologies
