Due to high volume of new work orders for 2024, Powder Coating facility that manufactures coatings for various industries such as automotive, military, and other manufacturing industries is looking to hire motivated operators for ALL SHIFTS!
Description:
Set up of blenders, mixers, and extruders using base parameters assigned by management-Prepare pigments and bases together for upcoming runs
-Record operational data on computer controlled machinery and/or specified forms
-Clean and disassemble mixing and bonding equipment
-Prepare tooling for changeovers and perform machine changeovers
-Continually monitor production runs to detect defects or deviations from standards and make minor adjustments as necessary
-Transport finished runs or full skills to shipping warehouse
-Work to continuously improve all areas of productivity and reduce scrap
-Must be able to lift 50lbs if the machine is running non stop it could be 20 boxes per hour. Assuming the machine is continuously running. The machines at the most can run 500kg/hour (25Kg/50lbs).
Must Haves:
1-2 years of machine operating experience
Mechanically inclined, meaning having previous set up or trouble shooting experience
Experience performing quality control throughout the operating process
Understand basic math.
First Day Expectation is to catch onto instructions and retain what was learn.
1 Month Expectation is to be able to work by oneself with supervision of other operators if needed.
BEST WORKER: flexible to work wherever he/she is needed, cleaning machine or stocking. Someone who is mechanically inclined, sense of urgency, reliable and able to work off order sheets.
