　　Monmouth Medical Center located in Long Branch, NJ is looking for aCytologist

　　RESPONSIBILITIES:

　　Under the general supervision of the section supervisor, the cytotechnologist performs all laboratory procedures in a prompt, and reliable manner, according to established hospital and departmental policies and procedures. Is responsible for reporting identified safety issues such as hazardous environments (i.e. damaged floors/walls/ceiling tiles/unsecured areas) and medical errors, etc.

　　QUALIFICATIONS:

　　Education/Training/Certification/Licensure:

　　BA/BS Degree. Mathematical, computer reasoning and language skills at a college level (4 years).

　　BS/BA requirement may be waived based on appropriate licensure and amount and type of experience.

　　Graduate of an approved school of cytology. ASCP or equivalent certification preferred
