Responsibilities
We are seeking a mission-focused Cyber Security Analyst IVto support and contribute to our government customer’s success in North Charleston, SC!
ACTIVE SECURITY CLEARANCE REQUIRED
As a Cyber Security Analyst, you will support cybersecurity initiatives, provide support, and execute cybersecurity services to assist in ensuring compliance with Federal, DoD, DHA, and sub-services regulations and policies.
Duties, Tasks & Responsibilities
Reviews and updates the Detailed Architecture Diagram, Detailed Hardware/Software Inventory, and other system artifacts to determine the DoD IT type (IT service, IT product, PIT, PIT system, or IS).
Develops the baseline set of impact values (low, moderate, or high) for the medical devices.
Identifies common controls, documents them in the Security Plan, and obtains supporting documentation that defines responsibilities associated with the inherited controls.
Initiates the tailoring process in eMASS to modify the control set to account more closely for conditions affecting the specific system.
Adds relevant supplemental security controls and marks extraneous or impertinent controls as “Not Applicable” and identifies security controls to be monitored on an ongoing basis.
Reviews site/organization change control policies and documents the method of applying policies to specific controls.
Coordinates with the IV&V Team to clarify information required for SAP.
Leads the execution of the self-assessment activities, complete the applicable checklists, assessing the NIST SP 800-53 Revision 4 controls, and documenting the results in eMASS.
Provides support with remediation and mitigation efforts.
Creates the Risk Assessment Report (RAR) and upload into eMASS along with all self-assessment results and artifacts documentation.
Coordinates with the ISSM to confirm the completion of the Security Authorization Package prior to eMASS submission.
Assists program with status reports, white papers, weekly activity report, and other ad hoc requirements as necessary.
Qualifications
Required Experience, Education, Skills & Technologies
A bachelor's degree in relevant field.
A minimum of Five (5) or more years of relevant experience in cyber logistics.
Technical Training in Cyber Security, Information Assurance, Network Design or Information Technology with 15 years of hands-on experience supporting network operations centers, Cyber Security Service Providers, Cyber Red Teams, or equivalent within the DoD or Federal government, to include three (3) of the following five (5) areas: Systems Requirements, Operational Requirements, Data Analysis, Test & Evaluation, and Training.
Must possess IAT Level I / IAM Level I, II, III certification.
Active DoD Secret clearance.
Knowledge of DHS mission and environment, as well as DoD Networks and orders process.
Skilled in briefing Senior Leadership and General Officer / Flag Officer (GO/FO) leadership.
Strong knowledge of computer security principles and best practices.
Skilled with eMASS and Risk Management Framework (RMF).
Proficient in developing briefing materials, administrative, and logistic support.
Advanced communication and presentation skills (verbal and written) enabling precise conveyance of information across all customer sections and proper enunciation of the English language.
Possess strong interpersonal, organizational, and critical thinking/problem solving skills.
Must be flexible, dependable and be able to multi-task with priorities while providing excellent customer service.
Proficiency in use of Microsoft Office Suite.
Working knowledge of Combatant Command operations.
Skilled with building extended cyber security analytics.

Full-time on-site at designated facility.
Pay Rate
The projected compensation range for this position is $110,000 - $160,000. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Criterion Systems considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.
