  Responsibilities

  Our Customs Specialist is responsible to handle logistics compliance activities, predominantly custom clearance of import and export shipments, which involves oversite on day-to-day shipments, maintain submission of data and documentation as per customs rules and DMF (Department of Minerals and Fuels) regulation, section 70.

  Responsibilities & Duties:

  Check and verify HS code applicability, help classify products with relevant Thai HS Code.

  Review both Import and Export Declarations.

  Remain current with all applicable Customs and DMF regulations.

  Coordinate with internal teams, customs brokers, and government agencies (Thai Customs and DMF)

  Stay informed about changes in customs regulation, trade agreements and industry practices.

  Perform audits and reviews to assess compliance with Customs and DMF requirements.

  Provide guidance and support to Logistics Specialist and Logistics Planner.

  Monitor day-to-day shipments and provide necessary assistance to Logistics Specialist and Logistics Planner.

  Ensure document retention for all import and export shipments.

  Handle customs enquires, investigations and disputs.

  Know and understand Weatherford Quality Policy and comply with all requirements of the Quality Systems Manual, Operating and Technical Procedures and Workplace Instructions.

  Must understand and comply with all safety rules and company policies of Weatherford.

  Work assignments carried out to the highest quality level.

  Perform various other duties and activities as assigned by Manager within the physical constraints of the job.

  Qualifications

  Ability to comprehend critical documents and to learn quickly.

  Ability to multi-task and adapt easily to an ever-changing work environment.

  Advanced knowledge and experience in handling the customs clearance (both import and export) DMF privilege (Section 70) and FreeZone activities.

  Advanced knowledge on shipment IncoTerms.

  Advanced knowledge on Thai HS codes and product classification.

  Good oral and written communication skills with professional phone skills

  Good organizational skills

  Detail oriented

  7+ years of experience.

  SAP, JDE & OTM experience is a plus
