Job Summary
As an Accounting Analyst within the Finance & Business Management (F&BM) team, you will experience the exciting opportunity of working within a SaaS environment, while enjoying the security and resources of J.P. Morgan. This role will play a crucial part in managing and maintaining financial records, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting principles.
Job Responsibilities
Own month-end close procedures, including bank reconciliations, revenue recognition, fixed assets, prepaid expenses, accruals, and overall monitoring of GL accounts
Manage Accounts Receivable through the creation of customer invoices, recording of payments and communicating with customers in a professional manner
Manage Accounts Payable by handling vendor communications, processing vendor bills in the company's spend management system, and maintaining critical vendor data
Assist in preparation, analysis, and review of financial statements for management (P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow)
Partner with finance team to review budget-versus-actual variances, trend analysis, and other projects
Assist in maintaining the integrity of customer data in the company's CRM by reviewing customer contracts and financial reporting data
What You'll Need
2+ years of accounting/finance related experience
High levels of attention to detail and accuracy
Proficiency in Excel/Sheets and a general understanding of financial systems
Strong organizational abilities
Excellent communication and collaborative skills
Strong ability to adapt in a dynamic environment
Nice to Have
SaaS experience preferred
Understanding of the venture/private capital ecosystem
