　　This role can be based in any of our Irish branches in either Dublin, Shannon & Cork.

　　.Joining the EXP.o CustomsWare software team as a Customs Software Tester, you will apply your existing domain knowledge to test the functionality of the product in order to ensure that it meets expectations. Part of your work will include learning to create entry-level tests in code. The CustomsWare software manages declarations to Customs Authorities in multiple countries in Europe. Ideally this role would be suitable for an experienced Customs Broker who is interested in converting into a career in Software.

　　Experience in software or XML file structures is advantageous, but you will be trained by an experienced Tester in all aspects of the work. Depending on your success in testing, there is the possibility to progress to being a regular Software Developer, learning on the job.

　　Responsibilities and Duties

　　Work as part of our CustomsWare development team testing software updates that the developers are making.

　　Work with the Development Manager, existing Testers, Product Owner and Developers to refine testing requirements and create test strategies.

　　Provide realistic estimates and timelines for the assigned tasks.

　　Execute tests and report the findings.

　　Work within an Agile Scrum environment.

　　Minimum of 2 years practical experience as a Customs Broker is desired.

　　Eagerness to learn more on the technical side.

　　Any previous testing or technical knowledge is a plus, especially with XML file structures.

　　Strong collaboration and communication skills.

　　Ability to prioritize multiple tasks effectively.

　　Ability to write new or expand existing learning resources for our internal wiki.

　　Ability to learn quickly and become independent in troubleshooting.

　　Comfortable reporting problems to team-mates in an emotionally intelligent manner.

　　A technical test may be will be required during the interview process.
