Description We are offering a long-term contract employment opportunity for a Senior MacOS Engineer in the Private Equity industry, based in New York. As a Senior MacOS Engineer, your role will involve designing and implementing engineering solutions for Apple hardware, providing high-level technical support to executives, and maintaining macOS devices using Jamf Pro and Microsoft Intune.

Responsibilities:

• Design and implement engineering solutions for Apple hardware in a Windows-centric infrastructure

• Provide high-level, direct technical support to executives, ensuring a superior experience with their macOS devices

• Manage and maintain macOS devices using Jamf Pro and Microsoft Intune, ensuring systems are secure, up-to-date, and functioning smoothly

• Develop and maintain shell and PowerShell scripts to automate device management tasks and enhance executive user experiences

• Collaborate closely with executive staff to understand and cater to their technical needs effectively

• Proactively seek out and implement enhancements to the macOS support framework to better serve the executive team

• Lead and support technology projects, evaluating and introducing new software and hardware solutions where appropriate

• Offer training and resources to executives to ensure they are maximizing the capabilities of their macOS devices

• Generate comprehensive documentation detailing IT support protocols, system configurations, and processes for executive support

• Maintain strict confidentiality and professionalism when dealing with sensitive information

• Collaborate with the IT team to maintain consistency and share best practices across the organization. Requirements • Must have a minimum of 5 years of experience as a MacOS Engineer or in a similar role

• Proficiency in managing and supporting Apple Devices is required

• Strong knowledge of Computer Hardware, Mac OS, and Mac OS X is essential

• Experience with JAMF Casper Suite and Jamf Pro is necessary

• Ability to provide End-User Support and work with Microsoft Windows

• Proficiency in PowerShell and PowerShell Scripting

• Experience with Windows Intune and Intune

• Exceptional Communication Skills, both written and verbal

• Knowledge of DevOps, Devops Automation, and Devops strategy

• Experience in Documentation and Technical Documentation

• Proficient in Scripting, including Scripting Experience, Scripting Skills, and Scripting Tools

• Experience with Shell Scripting

• Must be able to work independently and in a team environment

• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail

• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
