Represents the company to the customer and assumes accountability for customer satisfaction with service. Responsible for customer service activities associated with updating, troubleshooting, diagnosing and repairing of highly complex capital equipment including but not limited to SS9K, SS10K, SS11K films systems and ASET F5x tools. Assures operational quality of these systems and provides solutions to other engineers to assist the customers in the resolution of complex problems. Coordinates actions with customers to minimize down time. Provides assistance to Installation engineers in resolving problems. Evaluates, analyzes, diagnoses and troubleshoots technical equipment problems via telephone or at customer site. Ensures equipment enhances customer production. Repairs and updates equipment at customer facility. Prepares field service reports on customer support activity and provides documentation on re-occurring problems. Contributes to the Capturing, Re-use, Collaboration, and Improvement of knowledge using available systems. Cross train and assist other field service engineers. Utilize engineering knowledge background. May telecommute. Salary range: $122,470.40 - $138,600 per year.
Job Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Applied Sciences, Mathematics, Optics, Physics, or related field (or foreign equivalent) and 36 months of experience in the job offered or in an engineering-related occupation.
