  Job title: Customer Service Summer Student

  Location: Brampton (Hybrid Role)

  Position Summary

  We are looking for a Customer Service Summer Student based at our Brampton Location to join our Customer Service Operations teams from May to August 2024. This role will be responsible for being Nestles front line for our customers, building valuable relationships and continuing to earn their respect and trust by delivering best-in-class service.

  A day in the life of a Sales Intern

  As a Customer Service Summer Student builds relationship with incumbent customers who either have a current Nestle Ice Cream account or bring new accounts on board. They collaborate cross functionally with other departments; namely distribution, finance, route planning, and logistic operations while managing business relations and building trusting relationships with Nestlé’s customers.

  You will be working in one of the following areas:

  Customer service: The front line for our customers, learn how to build valuable relationships and continuing to earn their respect and trust by delivering best-in-class service.

  Customer Solutions: Be responsible for maintaining the Customer database and for managing the end-to-end customer set-up including ‘selling in’ the benefits of the Nestlé Ice Cream program and qualifying a prospective customer for an Ice Cream freezer..

  What will make you successful?

  As the successful candidate, you are highly organised, assertive and a self- starter who has strong interpersonal skills with exceptional verbal communication skills. You are customer service driven, have the ability to inspire people around you and have a passion for our brands.

  You will also:

  Currently enrolled in 2nd, 3rd or 4th year undergraduate program in a business-related discipline.

  Bilingualism (French/English) is a must for all of the vacancies.

  A result and detail-oriented professional with strong analytical skills.

  A proactive thinker who can generate new ideas/solutions to meet internal and external requirements.

  Superior telephone manner with demonstrated customer service skills.

  Able to communicate and collaborate cross functionally with other departments

  Problem solving skills, managing missing shipments, accounting discrepancies

  Must be comfortable working in a demanding, fast-paced, time-sensitive environment.

  Strong computer proficiency (PowerPoint, Word, Excel).
