Join our team as an Accounts Receivable Specialist and play a pivotal role in supporting the financial operations of our dynamic real estate development company. Key Responsibilities:

Generate and issue invoices to clients in a timely and accurate manner, ensuring adherence to contract terms and project milestones.

Monitor accounts receivable aging reports and follow up on past due invoices to facilitate timely collections.

Reconcile accounts receivable ledger to ensure accuracy and resolve discrepancies as needed.

Collaborate with project managers and sales teams to address billing inquiries and resolve client disputes or discrepancies.

Process incoming payments, including checks, credit card payments, and electronic funds transfers, and apply them to customer accounts.

Prepare and distribute regular accounts receivable reports to management, highlighting key metrics and trends.

Assist with month-end and year-end closing processes, including revenue recognition and bad debt analysis.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or related field preferred.

2+ years of experience in accounts receivable or related financial role, preferably in the real estate or construction industry.

Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices, including revenue recognition and billing processes.

Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Yardi, MRI).

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with clients and internal stakeholders.

Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
