Robert Half is on the hunt for a committed Customer Service Representative to join the team of a well-respected company in the finance industry. This company is located in the heart of Downtown Des Moines. This is a highly rewarding long-term contract role that offers the opportunity for permanent employment at the end of the contract. In this key position, you will be entrusted with handling customer interactions, keeping customer records accurate and up-to-date, and diligently processing claims. Comprehensive training will be provided, ensuring you're well-equipped to excel in your role. This opportunity comes in collaboration with Robert Half, exclusively working on this long-term project.

Responsibilities:

• Accurately process customer claims in a timely manner

• Provide exceptional customer service through answering inbound calls

• Maintain and update customer records regularly

• Ensure high quality service by utilizing skills such as MS Word, MS Excel, Microsoft Outlook, and typing 45 - 60 WPM

• Handle customer inquiries and resolve any issues efficiently

• Thrive in a fast-paced environment ensuring all tasks are completed

• Demonstrate strong phone skills when interacting with customers

Requirements:

• Minimum of 2 years' experience in a Customer Service role

• Proficient in answering inbound calls and processing claims

• Experience in data entry and quality assurance tasks

• Proficiency in MS Word, MS Excel, and Microsoft Outlook

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills

• Ability to handle high-stress situations and maintain composure

• Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and procedures
