Summary: Keeps buildings clean and orderly.Performs heavy cleaning duties (production floor, plant bathrooms,lunchroom, office and common area\'s) Essential Duties andResponsibilities: Collects and disposes of trash following approvedprocedures and infection control plans. Dusts and damp mops floorsfollowing approved procedures. Moves equipment and furniture for propercleaning and place furniture back in correct placement. Cleans assignedareas with the use of assigned materials and equipment. Sanitize allsurfaces. Follows the eight-step cleaning procedure. Washes walls,windows, furniture, baseboards and other items to maintain a clean, safeenvironment for patients, visitors and staff. Seeks out areas requiringcleaning; takes initiative to complete the task. Completes all tasksassigned by supervisor. Performs tasks in accordance with all federal,state and county guidelines. Strips, scrubs, buffs and refinishesfloors; shampoos carpet. Contributes to the team; exhibitsprofessionalism with customers, fellow employees and others. Performsother duties as assigned.
