　　Position SummaryYou will be working as part of the engineering team assisting EGS, Lead, engineers, and the Project Engineer/Project Manager in identifying and extracting technical data from a variety of sources. You will work with the schedule and reporting work progress. You will work to organize and coordinate submittals, back check drawing updates, document reviews, meetings, and workshops. The ideal candidate will have a strong aptitude for utilizing the computer to collect, organize, and present technical data through the use of databases. You will be interfacing and coordinating with other engineering disciplines in your day-to day work activities.

　　This position is a full-time role that offers part-time telework flexibility in the Richland, Washington project office. Upon initial hire and onboarding, the position will require full time presence in the Richland, Washington project office, then may offer part-time telework flexibility. This position works a 9/80 schedule, offering every other Friday off. Please be advised that the telework designation of the position may be changed in the future at the discretion of the company or project

　　ResponsibilitiesThe primary role of the Engineering Technologist is to support the EGS, Lead, and engineers, which includes supporting schedule tracking, loading documents to project programs to ensure configuration management deliverables, supporting back check of CAD development, managing/expediting document reviews/requests, inputting data sets, performing quality checks on deliverables and submitting completed packages. tracking of information, locating documents.

　　The Engineering Technologist performs data searches and maintains open item punch list items status.

　　The Engineering Technologist supports meeting presentations, including preparing presentation slides.

　　The Engineering Technologist will also support the preparation and review of technical documents under the direction of an engineer, including supporting CAD updates/back-checking.

　　Supports collection and data management of task specific work processes.

　　Provides administrative support to Leads/Supervisors to support efficient scheduling/reporting.

　　In addition, it will be required that the candidate has excellent communication skills and demonstrates leadership, quality and safety values within the work group and with interfacing disciplines.

　　The Engineering Technologist assures the work is performed to the high quality standards for nuclear facilities while executing the schedule.

　　Basic QualificationsLevel 1: High school diploma with 5 years of relevant experience.

　　Level 2: Bachelor’s degree or in lieu of a degree, high school diploma with 6 years of relevant experience.

　　Must be able to complete and pass a pre-employment drug screen, physical (if located at the construction site), and background check which includes verification of employment and education.

　　Must be able to obtain a Department of Energy badge for access to the Hanford Site. (Even if teleworking, must still be able to comply with security requirements to obtain a badge)

　　Must possess the right to work and remain in the United States without sponsorship.

　　Minimum QualificationsProficient in software tools (MS Excel, Word, Power Point)

　　Computer Skills: A strong aptitude for utilizing the computer to collect, organizes, and presents technical data.

　　Technical Skills: Analyze data within technical documents to identify relevant information and properly classify that information so that it can be sorted and readily retrieved for later analysis and use by project staff.

　　Analytical Skills: Possess the desire and ability to monitor large quantities of information and employ efficient extraction techniques in response to requests for information.

　　Communication Skills: As a member of an Engineering team, communicate with other data analysts, engineers, technical experts, and management.

　　Attention to Detail: Possess the ability to accurately identify and capture relevant technical details from within large documents and data sets.
