Job Summary: At the direction of a radiologist operates computedtomography (CT) and related equipment. Performs CT studies according tospecific guidelines, prescribed protocols and utilizing appropriateradiation protection measures. Reviews images; archives with associatedpatient data. Interacts with imaging personnel, nursing and medicalstaff, patients and visitors. Performs other duties as assigned.EXPERIENCE DESCRIPTION: Minimum of one-year, full time equivalent,clinical experience in Diagnostic Radiology is required. Previous CTexperience is preferred. EDUCATION DESCRIPTION: Post high schoolcompletion of an ARRT accredited Radiologic Technology program isrequired. 1-2 years of college/university coursework and/or anundergraduate degree in a healthcare related field ispreferred.LICENSURE DESCRIPTION: ARRT registered RT (R) in diagnosticradiology and current State of WI license as a Radiographer is required.Advanced certification in CT required within 18 months of hire/transfer.American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support for the HealthcareProvider (BLS) or an AHA approved equivalent is required within three(3) months of hire.
