　　In the Coatings Division, we are focused on the development, production and marketing of a variety of coating solutions - from applied surface technologies to automotive paints. Working in global teams, we promote innovation, design and new applications in order to meet our partners' needs. This portfolio is complemented by "Beyond Paint Solutions", which enables new applications with innovative surfaces.

　　RESPONSIBILITIES

　　The Global Data Office is the central data solutions team in BASF Coatings. We take care of a state-of-the-art data infrastructure, data governance and support various data analytics projects. We enable modern reporting and analytics as self-service to all our internal stakeholders. Additionally, we provide a centralized approach to AI services within the company and support on the implementation of AI solutions.

　　As a Data Platform & AI Architect, you design and support a data platform that enables efficient storage, processing, and analysis of large amounts of data.

　　You consult on best practices regarding database setup, interface design and software/programming design patterns.

　　In addition, you design and implement a central framework for AI solutions.

　　You consult on and implement workflows while using state-of-the-art AI algorithms.

　　You are familiarwith test-driven development, continuous integration and deployment, test automation and distributed version control (Git).

　　Furthermore, you will be part of a team of professionals, fostering a collaborative and high-performing work environment with development opportunities.

　　QUALIFICATIONS

　　university degree in computer science, informatics, business informatics, or a related field of study

　　strong experience in software engineering

　　familiar with C#, C++, python, java and sql

　　strong communication skills in German and English

　　ability to work effectively in a cross-functional and multicultural environment
