Lowe’s Summer Internship Program Overview
Lowe's 2024 Summer Internship Program offers a challenging, project-based opportunity for undergraduate and graduate students to enhance their understanding of the retail business world through valuable, hands-on experience with a FORTUNE® 50 company. The internship will provide broad learning, experience, organizational knowledge, and business acumen. We are looking for:

The summer internship program begins with orientation on May 20th and concludes on August 2nd . All internships are paid opportunities. Qualified interns will be eligible for Lowe's housing benefit.
Global Merchandising Style Team:
The style team is a highly collaborative team of interior design professionals who work within Lowe’s Global Merchandising. This team is responsible for showcasing Lowe’s private brands products in a way to help our customers dream big when it comes to designing their space. Our interior style associates work with our product development merchants, industrial designers, marketing associates, and Lowe’s customers to understand our products and how they come together to create attractive and livable homes.
Potential Areas of Learning:
Research, conceptualization, and development of style proposals
Develop deeper understanding of space planning using various product categories to create room scenes
Development and presentation of a style guide for a specific product category
Facilitate day-to-day project activities such as SharePoint filing and communication with Lowe’s Vendors
Education and/or Experience:
Currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in interior design from an accredited university with expected graduation dates of December 2024 or May 2025
Minimum 3.0 cumulative GPA is required
Proficient in MS Office Programs (specifically Word, Excel, and Power Point)
Proficient in Google Sketchup
Proficient in Adobe Photoshop
Working understanding of color, material, finishes, and furniture
Comfortable with production of 3D renderings
Strong collaborative, innovative, problem solving, organizational, and communication skills are required
Relevant internship and experience is a plus, as is experience in a leadership position at work or within a campus organization
