The ICUintensive care unit at Waukesha Memorial Hospital has earned asilver-level Beacon Award for Excellence from the American Associationof Critical Care Nurses (AACN). The award recognizes unit caregivers forsuccessfully improving patient outcomes and aligning unit practices withAACN standards. Units that receive this three-year award meet nationalcriteria consistent with other national quality awards, such as theNational Quality Healthcare Award. Waukesha Memorial is one of only twohospitals in Wisconsin to earn the silver-level Beacon award. (2013).Schedule Details: This .9 FTE commits to 36 hours per week on the night(NOC) shift.
