[CrossRoad Engineers, PC is looking to expand its team. We are looking for a Crew Chief and/or a Survey Field Technician to be a part of a survey field crew performing a variety of land surveys and staking including but not limited to topographic surveys, route surveys, boundary surveys, ALTA/NSPS Land Title Surveys, construction staking, and right of way staking. Selected individuals must be hard working, dedicated team members that enjoy working primarily outdoors in a fast-paced environment and are willing to learn the necessary skills to be successful and advance in the land surveying / construction surveying field. Overtime is regularly available during the extended construction season. The position requires an interest in technology, problem solving, and producing accurate results. Selected candidates will learn and work as part of a two-person[crew. Experience / familiarity in the construction industry is helpful though not necessary.

Help perform land survey work using routine surveying practices and equipment.Clearly, accurately, and thoroughly record work performed and conditions using established company procedures and formats.Effectively and professionally communicate with a variety of clients, co-workers and the general public as needed.Work quickly and efficiently to ensure tasks are completed on time.Commute to and from office to job sites daily in survey vehicle.Survey equipment and vehicle upkeep.[Minimum Qualifications]{noto="" sans",sans-serif"=""}
High School diploma or GED equivalent
0-4 years of experience in performing field surveys
Effective and professional written and oral communication skills
Effective interpersonal skills
Able to work 8 or more hours per workday
Able to work 40 or more hours per week as needed
Able to work outdoors in a variety of seasonal weather conditions at locations including but not limited to construction sites,rural areas, downtown city streets, and highways.
Ability to traverse uneven or difficult terrain while carrying survey equipment of up to 50 lbs.
Able to perform manual labor tasks such as dig and/or probe into pavement or ground for survey information and lift structurelids or covers
