Description
• Process and review credit limit increase requests on new/existing accounts using credit report information, payment trend analysis, customer financial statements, marketplace information, debt and stock ratings
• Analyze information to determine if the account is eligible for a credit line increase and set credit limits accordingly
• Monitor account credit limits and place accounts on hold
• Maintain current information in support of established credit limits making recommendations to management
• Maintain a positive relationship with key internal stakeholders by utilizing good communication and collaboration skills
• Collaborate with Sales to collect necessary documents to approve credit for new and existing customers
• Perform proactive risk reviews on customer accounts and collaborate with internal stakeholders to improve results
• Active monitoring of high-risk accounts
• Works with Legal to ensure compliance
• Discusses delinquent accounts with the sales team and credit manager as needed
• Bad debt reserve analysis
• Listening to conference calls and summarizing findings
• Assist in driving and enforcing credit policy
• Escalate key issues to Credit Manager
Requirements
Experience with Financial Analysis, Credit Analysis
the ability to review credit reports
Microsoft Excel (vlookups, pivot tables)
Preferred: NACM and/or CRF credentials - NACM (National Ass. of Credit Management) and/or CRF (Credit Research Foundation) credentials, such as CBA, CBF, CICP, ICCP, or CCE
