　　DESCRIPTION OF WORKIn the multi-service School Based Program, you will have the responsibility of providing direct services. Your tasks will include evaluating, assessing, and distributing intake referrals received from Children and Youth to the caseworker staff. You will report to the Children and Youth Social Services Coordinator and will be required to maintain statistics related to School Based services. Additionally, you will be responsible for evaluating, assessing, and distributing referrals received directly from schools to the casework staff. Collaboration and networking with area agencies within the school setting or local community for referral purposes will also be part of your role. Furthermore, you will be responsible for identifying the needs of the school district and community and developing appropriate services to address those needs.

　　Work hours are 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, Monday - Friday, with a 30-minute lunch.

　　Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:Two years of professional experience in public or private social work and a bachelor's degree with major course work in sociology, social welfare, psychology, gerontology, criminal justice, or other related social sciences; or

　　Any equivalent combination of experience and education which includes 12 college credits in sociology, social welfare, psychology, gerontology, criminal justice, or other related social sciences.
