Apple’s Strategic Data Solutions (SDS) team is looking for a Training Development Specialist who has passion for helping individuals become the best version of themselves. This role will be a combination of teacher, trainer, and coach fully focused on developing individuals, leaders, and high performing teams across our organization. This role will work directly with a cross-functional team of program and project managers, machine learning engineers, business analysts, and attribution specialists.

Description
As a Training Development Specialist in SDS, you will help give people the knowledge and tools necessary to be their very best every day. You will help cultivate a collaborative and productive learning environment that encourages and empowers both individuals and teams to challenge, experiment, and grow. You will design, develop, and lead training solutions for tactical needs but also strategic, complex, and cross-functional problems that do not neatly align under a particular business function. We would love to find a creative problem solver who is well organized and not afraid to go above and beyond to get the job done. - Define, align, and assess organizational learning and training needs - Partner with business functions to identify training needs and improvements - Architect innovative training solutions to achieve objectives - Develop cohesive, relevant curriculums by partnering with SDS leadership and subject matter experts - Create and deliver immersive and effective educational and coaching experiences - Provide interactive activities and educational resources to be used within teams - Assess individual and/or team progress and align the content and presentation style to their needs - Evaluate existing instructional content and keep up-to-date - Research and implement new approaches and techniques into training - Assist in the design, development and delivery of talent management solutions - Maintain projects, organize course documents, and distribute materials accordingly - Manage rosters and, track ongoing progress, and report on overall impact - Collaborate with other Apple training teams in the creation and delivery of training solutions Added Bonuses - Familiarity with Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, or Dreamweaver - Basic understanding of HTML and Flash
Education & Experience
Bachelor's degree or equivalent plus a minimum of 5+ years of training/coaching/teaching experience. A degree in instructional design, education, coaching, or a related field is a plus.
