This role is a direct report to GlobalCost Accounting Manager and is responsible for leading the activities ofthe cost accounting team in Milwaukee and Twinsburg. The individual inthis role will work closely with the manufacturing sites & distributioncenters on matters related to physical inventories, variances tostandards, issue identification and Internal Controls. Ideal candidatewill have a proven track record of supporting business partners, strongfinancial and systems acumen with a focus on efficiency, and exemplarycommunication skills. Key Accountabilities: Lead Cost Accounting team ona day-to-day basis Supervise and support daily operations of the teammembers to ensure proper application of cost accounting principles andother process activities Monitor the financial integrity ofmanufacturing processes including Production Order Variance, PurchasePrice Variance & Cycle Counts analysis Perform the month end closeprocess for the Cost Accounting team related entries Participate in thebiennial global cost roll process and ensure its accuracy andcompleteness Coordinate and conduct in the physical inventory auditsMaintain tight compliance controls: ensure compliance with therequirements of the Corporate Finance Policies (SOX, external auditetc.) related to inventory Train the Cost Accounting team on cost rolland SAP transactional analytics Help motivate others in the team toachieve targets and...
