  Corporate Pharmacy Technician Trainer Up to 50% Travel CPS Solutions is seeking a highly motivated and skilled Pharmacy Technician Trainer who wants to elevate their experience by coaching fellow Technicians on ways to provide best-in-class care to specialty patients within the health system setting. The full time, exempt Specialty Pharmacy Technician Trainer will be responsible for helping CPSs' onsite and Advance Team Technician develop the skills and knowledge required to successfully execute our model of specialty pharmacy care at client sites. As the Trainer, you will conduct informative training sessions, promote company efficiency, and improve the skills of Pharmacy Technicians within the organization. The ideal candidate must have strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to effectively describe complex concepts and processes to a wide range of audiences with varying degrees of experience. This individual must be highly organized, proficient in time management, and possess excellent public speaking skills. This position will require up to 50% travel to customer sites. A valid driver's license is required. Salary Range: $50K to $60K DOE plus bonus Training responsibilities: Collaborate with management to identify company training needs. Schedule appropriate training sessions Oversee and direct seminars, workshops, individual training sessions, and lectures. Plan and implement an effective training curriculum for onsite and Advance Team Technician Prepare hard copy training materials such as module summaries, videos, and presentations. Train and guide new employees as well as provide ongoing training and support for existing employees. Develop monitoring systems to ensure that all Technicians are performing job responsibilities in a satisfactory fashion according to training. Central responsibilities: Remotely support ongoing work in clinics at all client sites and ensure that the patient/CPS engagement is appropriate and consistent with their preferences. This includes the following: Ensure that every patient who can benefit from specialty pharmacy services is identified contacted either in clinic or via phone or email Utilize engagement tools that highlight the benefits of using the customer's specialty pharmacy services without impeding the patient choice of pharmacy Lead clinical follow-up with patients per defined protocols - through outbound phone calls and in-person appointments - to ensure patients are adherent to therapy and any issues are identified and resolved expediently Accept inbound calls from patients and assist with on-call coverage to ensure 24/7 patient support Appropriately address clinical questions, triaging as appropriate Other general responsibilities: Help promote teamwork and positive morale, upholding CPS culture and norms and ensuring it flows through in every interaction and process Display excellent communication skills including presentation, persuasion, and negotiation skills required in working with coworkers and clients, including the ability to communicate effectively and remain calm and courteous under pressure Qualifications: A current Pharmacy Technician certification in good standing and the willingness to gain multi-state licensure as necessary Experience as a Pharmacy Technician or Liaison in a Specialty Pharmacy setting A minimum of 3 years of proven experience in a teaching position A high school diploma or equivalent; four-year college degree or health care degree (e.g., nursing or social work) is preferred Experience working with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals (preferably in a medical clinic setting) Knowledge of benefits investigation, prior authorization support, and patient financial assistance work Strong organizational, communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills Proficiency in standard workplace software (e.g., MS Office) and dispensing systems (e.g., QS1, RX30, Computer Rx); experience with EMR systems (e.g., EPI , Cerner, Meditech) is preferred The ability to travel with little advance notice The ability to start from scratch, execute quickly and accurately without pre-defined processes and protocols, and an interest in defining such processes for the future The willingness to draft training documents and the ability to create and improve training programs based on the needs of CPS' customers based on the evolving nature of our business The energy and willingness to be hands-on and do whatever is required to provide the best care to our patients Hospital Requirements: (may be required) (PPD) TB Skin Test - Proof ofnegativeTB skin test within thelast 12 months (MMR) Measles, Mumps and Rubella or A Blood Titer provingimmunity Varicella -(2)documented doses or A Blood Titer proving HepB3 Series (Flu) Influenza-required for hire between Oct 1 st -April 30 th COVID Vaccine Benefits : All employees enjoy a competitive salary, eligibility to participate in the 401(k) savings plan with a match.
