Dewberry is seeking a Construction Enginer for its Denver, CO office.The Construction Engineer will be responsible for the management of water,wastewater, utility, heavy civil, and building project and designconstruction oversight in the Denver Metropolitan area. The CM will performtasks such as on-site project management and construction inspection,project coordination, project controls, and contract administration. Essential Duties and Responsibilities:Monitor contractor operations for compliance with contract plans,provisions, and specificationsCoordinate and schedule various phases of construction inspection with theprime contractor and other agenciesOversee traffic control, SWPPP implementation, and project complianceProactive in identifying field issues and discuss solutions with supervisorCollaborative approach to working in a team that includes the owner andcontractorPrepare and process construction records, including RFI's, submittals,field measurements for progress pay applications, extra work billings, andcontract change ordersDocument all field activities, work in a collaborative manner with the ownerand contractor and represent Dewberry and our clients in the highest capacityProject schedule adherence and use of Primavera P6, Asta Powerproject,Microsoft Project or equivalentWeekly OAC meetings, meeting minutes, and documentationWeekly and monthly project reportingPunchlist management, warranty review, and project closeoutWork in a very timely fashion to meet project requirementsCommunicate effectively with clients, coworkers, sub consultants, andagency review staff.
