Robert Half is partnering with a global company that is hirings its first in house attorney for its U.S. headquarters in Sunrise, FL headquarters. This Corporate Counsel will report into the General Counsel in Europe and will be responsible for contracts, corporate governance, compliance, regulatory matters, M A, and working with outside counsel on legal matters. Position is hybrid remote with 4 days in the office/1 day from home along with full benefits, a base salary up to $210,000 plus bonus. This is an exciting opportunity as company is in growth mode. Responsibilities include:

Draft, review, negotiate a variety of agreements including, acquisition documents, confidentiality agreements/NDAs, letters of intent, leases, commercial contracts with suppliers, service agreements as well as contractor/consultant/employment agreements ensuring both legal and business objectives are met.

Advise business units and support with training on regulatory matters such as anti-trust, anti-bribery, anti-money laundering and other business-related compliance issues.

Support compliance activities and implementation of appropriate remediation measures.

Provide acquisition support, including due diligence on legal and regulatory matters and board/shareholder meetings and corporate filings.

Requirements

Qualifications:

Juris Doctorate from an accredited law school

Member of the FL Bar

2+ years of corporate experience in a mid to large law firm and corporate legal department
