Summary
CHS has an exciting opportunity in our Lubricant group . We are looking for a Shipping Operations Coordinator at our Lubricant Plant in Inver Grove Heights, MN. You must have excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, and be detail oriented. You must have strong computer skills, able to handle multiple projects at one time and think proactively.
Responsibilities
Process all Lubricants and Petroleum Equipment packaged orders.
Prepare paperwork and shipping documents ensuring products arrive to the customers in a timely and cost efficient manner.
Ensure all documents meeting DOT requirements
Provide work direction to union shipping and receiving personnel so as outgoing and incoming shipments are handled correctly and efficiently.
Prepare and maintain shipping and receiving logs, files and reports.
Partner with Lubricants Customer Service, Petroleum Equipment team, and the CHS Transportation group to ensure orders are shipped accurately and on time.
Investigate and resolve any problems and complaints pertaining to customer orders and general receipts.
Assist plant management in achieving and maintaining CHS standards and zero citations from city, state and federal regulatory agencies.
Work in JD Edwards and/or SAP environment, monitoring and processing order flow and ensure inventory accuracy.
Maintain and promote a strong safety culture and follow all safety policies, procedures and regulations. Identify and communicate workplace hazards and correct or seek assistance in correcting unsafe actions or conditions.
Minimum Qualifications (required)
3+ years of experience in Operations and/or Business OperationsAdditional Qualifications
Experience in customer service, shipping and receiving, warehousing, transportation or manufacturing.
Proficient in MS Word and Excel utilizing spreadsheets and graphics.
Associate Degree
JD Edwards and/or SAP experience
Warehouse Management Systems experience
High School diploma or GED preferred
