JOB SUMMARY
Coordinate the clinical skills and involvement of the staff to meet the requirements of core measures and medication management standards,
Work alongside the Director and Assistant Director to ensure patient care is provided safely and in a quality manner for all patient age groups,
Assists with developing and contributes to the pharmacy department's quality assurance and improvement measures,
The Clinical Coordinator will raise the clinical services in all specialties, coordinate clinical pharmacy activities, meet collaboratively with the physicians and nursing staff, and make and execute a pharmacy staff development plan and educational competencies,
Serves as pharmacy residency program leader and oversees the pharmacy residents and clinical pharmacy staff,
Ensure that pharmacy is in compliance with all applicable policies, laws and regulations,
Supports mission, vision, values of hospital and system,
QUALIFICATIONS
B,S, or PharmD from an ACPE-accredited School of Pharmacy,
PharmD preferred,
Advanced degree is highly desirable,
Current New Jersey pharmacist licensure in good standing is required,
Residency completion and/or board certification in a relevant specialty are required
Five years of hospital pharmacy and two years of supervisory experience are required,
Familiarity with all phases of hospital pharmacy,
Working knowledge of public health matters,
Familiarly with Federal and State laws regulating professional and hospital practice of pharmacy,
Understanding of the role of the pharmacy department within the hospital, its interrelationships with other departments and functions,
