System One is currently seeking an experienced Controls Engineer for a direct hire opportunity in Bridgeton , MO.

　　Responsibilities:

　　Design controls systems for assembly and test equipment needed to support production processes.

　　Develop code and programs for equipment controls and user interfaces using several different platforms (C, C++, PLC)

　　Generate schematics and drawings for control systems.

　　Perform pneumatic assembly and electrical wiring.

　　Oversees equipment builds, qualifications, and implementations.

　　Collaborate with Manufacturing Engineers at all manufacturing sites.

　　Investigate new technologies for manufacturing process needs.

　　DFMA analysis of both new and existing products

　　Provide technical advice and support for AME and R&D Engineering.

　　Assist in troubleshooting existing production equipment.

　　Other assignments as deemed appropriate by the supervisor and/or manager.

　　10-20% work travel required.

　　Qualifications:

　　Bachelor’s degree in Electrical or Controls Engineering.

　　3+ years' professional experience in a similar role, 5-10 years' professional experience preferred.

　　C, C++, PLC, and HMI programming and diagnostics experience.

　　Extensive knowledge of electronic parts and specifications.

　　Strong leadership skills working in a collaborative environment.

　　Proven Project Management experience.

　　Effective communication skills across all levels of the organization.

　　Experience assisting with NPIs.

　　2D AutoCAD and schematic creation.

　　Powered holding and test equipment design experience.

　　Experience with robotic and automated cells, preferred.

　　Experience with 3D CAD software, Creo preferred.

　　Capital equipment procurement experience, preferred.
