Description Robert Half is looking to fill a Contracts Manager position. This will be a dynamic and rewarding role under the general counsel. The Contracts Manager will conduct vendor and subcontracts agreement, draft contracts, and manage and re-negotiate contracts as needed. Individuals should be yearning to expand their skill set in a fast-paced environment. This long-term contract / temporary employment opportunity is based in the Chicago, Illinois area. Supervise and organize contract templates; procure signatures on contracts
Look after and outsource and contracts
Improve and manage contract repositories
Oversee and maintain contracts database
Bringing forth contractual provisions and administer contract proposals
Coordinate and oversee requirements for compliance with contract terms and conditions, and relay information to internal departments
Administer the complete life cycle of the Company's contracts (from initial request to final signature and contract distribution)
Analyze client contract terms to align with Company's risk tolerance, and red-line documents as required for compliance
Regulate internal and external requests on status of contracts
Investigate and draft legal agreements (vendor agreements, NDAs, evaluation agreements) Requirements - Less than one year of experience is acceptable
Maintain company standards in all role's responsibilities in a fast-paced environment
Ability to thrive in a high-paced environment, requiring exceptional organizational skills, juggling client matters, and adhering to strict deadlines
Skillful in handling confidential business matters and information with discretion
Proven ability to work cross functionally and influence key decision makers
Certified Professional Contract Manager (CPCM) certification, or equivalent
Possess strong communication and social skills and able to receive criticism well
Candidate must have substantial computer experience including word processing, spreadsheets and presentation software, as well as databases and customer database systemsStrong familiarity with Select Suppliers
RFP Process experience
Pricing analysis experience preferred
Ability to review and draft non-disclosure agreements; preferably, software evaluation and licensing agreements
Bachelor's degree
Critical thinking skills and the ability to retain complex work directions
Must have strong organizational skills to track and monitor contracts for future obligations, expiration dates and other contractual deadlines
