Job Title:              Production Scheduler

　　*SUMMARY: *Plans and establishes production schedules for manufacturing operations of highly diversified products. Person allocates work by work center to ensure level loading and efficient use of resources to achieve on time delivery of product. Person makes necessary adjustments to schedules as approved by higher levels of the organization. Person issues orders to the appropriate department when revisions are made to the schedule.

　　*ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES *include the following.   Other duties may be assigned. 

　　Responsible for work block loading based on the plants daily production requirements, work blocks are further adjusted to gain optimal efficiency by reviewing the individual work center capacity.Role will maintain project schedules through daily analysis of spreadsheet data including engineering backlog, plant capacity, and new orders being entered into the schedule. Excel spreadsheets are the primary vehicle for managing these schedules.Interface daily with engineering, sales, and operations to ensure adherence to project schedules and when required, use such data to influence organization where resources are required.Interface with customer service on issues relating to customer delivery and resolving scheduling conflicts based on set criteria.Liaison for operations to sales and engineering requiring plant involvement, namely, sales order revisions.
