  About the Team

  TikTok's Global User Operations team ensures we're delivering on the mission in all of our user-facing efforts, helping to establish TikTok as our users' favorite daily experience. We're looking for a highly organized, collaborative Policy Manager to develop best-in-class practices and processes to highlight the amazing TikTok community.

  Responsibilities

  The Policy Manager will work with the Digital Asset Management (DAM) lead and Operations Associates to to execute the vision for how TikTok user-generated content (UGC) appears all over the world beyond the mobile screen. They will be responsible for managing content guidelines across markets, building risk control systems, and maintaining the health of the DAM content pool. They will collaborate with cross-functional teams across industries to align on content moderation and QA policy in order to promote an effective, scalable, and safe content ecosystem. This role requires someone organized and detail-oriented. They must be capable of sorting through many competing priorities, developing strong cross-functional relationships, and succeeding in a complex and fast-paced environment.

  Responsibilities

  - Own and manage our Digital Asset Management (DAM) Content Guidelines and align with global cross-functional stakeholders on policy

  - Lead regular audits to evaluate health of the DAM content ecosystem

  - Work closely with cross-functional partners and use social listening tools to identify emerging risks and drive implementation of turnkey solutions

  - Work with product and data teams to implement automated risk alert systems to support scalable solutions

  - Evaluate and improve QA systems to support risk management and scalability

  - Document and maintain content policy across evolutions and iterations

  - Manage external and internal comms for the DAM

  - Build training systems to support QA and moderation efforts

  - Additional project support/process development

  - Developing and facilitating processes

  - Supporting analyses

  - Sharing data

  - Updating benchmarks

  Qualifications

  - 4-5+ years of product/project/operations management or related experience

  - Technical experience preferred

  - Experience developing content workflow, processes, and standard operating procedures

  - Demonstrated systematic thought process regarding policy and experience working with product teams

  - Passionate about entertainment and digital content; knowledge of the media landscape and major trends in the industry

  - Ability to thrive in ambiguous high tempo environments, identify trade-offs, and make decisions in high-pressure situations and respond to day-to-day challenges of the role.

  - Excellent in communication and project management, able to work under pressure and solve complex problems with global teams

  - Experience in Trust and Safety or related industry a plus

  Job Information

  [For Pay Transparency] Compensation Description (annually)

  The base salary range for this position in the selected city is $83600 - $139333 annually.

  Compensation may vary outside of this range depending on a number of factors, including a candidate's qualifications, skills, competencies and experience, and location. Base pay is one part of the Total Package that is provided to compensate and recognize employees for their work, and this role may be eligible for additional discretionary bonuses/incentives, and restricted stock units.

In addition to Flexible Spending Account(FSA) Options like Health Care, Limited Purpose and Dependent Care.

  Our time off and leave plans are: 10 paid holidays per year plus 17 days of Paid Personal Time Off (PPTO) (prorated upon hire and increased by tenure) and 10 paid sick days per year as well as 12 weeks of paid Parental leave and 8 weeks of paid Supplemental Disability.

  We also provide generous benefits like mental and emotional health benefits through our EAP and Lyra. A 401K company match, gym and cellphone service reimbursements. The Company reserves the right to modify or change these benefits programs at any time, with or without notice.
