　　About the Role

　　The primary role of a Data Scientist is to conduct deep analysis of users, merchant products, platforms, and ecosystems, accurately describe business status, quickly discover and locate problems and opportunities in various business and technical directions. You will work closely with cross-function teams, such as Algorithm team and Product team to identify key issues of user experience and business performance.

　　Responsibilities - What You'II Do

　　1. Responsible for the research of business value, multi-indicator measurement, substitution, ecosystem strategy, and the design and analysis of complex algorithm experiments.

　　2. Complete in-depth special analysis and provide strategic suggestions through keen business insight, qualitative and quantitative analysis, model building, and experimental verification.

　　3. Based on a deep understanding of user traffic, merchants, creators, platforms, and ecosystems, accurately reflect the current business situation through the definition of a scientific indicator system and exploratory data analysis, quickly identify potential improvement opportunities in various business and technology directions.

　　Qualifications

　　1. Bachelor's degree or above; with backgrounds in e-commerce, local services, advertising, recommendation, live streaming, short videos, etc., statistics, computer science, economics, etc., data science, quantitative analysis, etc. are preferred;

　　2. Solid theoretical foundation and practical experience in statistics, machine learning, causal inference, etc.Proficient in SQL, proficient in using Python/R and related libraries.

　　3. Excellent sensitivity to data and logical thinking, ability to build an analytical framework in situations of high uncertainty, and transform data into quantitative insights. Experience in the internet and live streaming/short video industries is a plus.

　　4. Good communication skills, proactive at work, a strong sense of ownership, strong sense of responsibility, good teamwork and pressure-handling abilities. Strong curiosity and self-driven, eager to accept challenges, and pursue excellence.

　　[For Pay Transparency] Compensation Description (annually)

　　The base salary range for this position in the selected city is $126244 - $224960 annually.

　　Compensation may vary outside of this range depending on a number of factors, including a candidate's qualifications, skills, competencies and experience, and location. Base pay is one part of the Total Package that is provided to compensate and recognize employees for their work, and this role may be eligible for additional discretionary bonuses/incentives, and restricted stock units.
