CTL|Thompson, Inc. is seeking a full-time Engineering Technician to workin our Glenwood Springs office. This opportunity is suited forhard-working, active individuals. Engineering technicians assistgeotechnical and geologic engineers in field observations and testing ofmaterials, such as soils, concrete, masonry and fireproofing. Dutiesalso include various testing in our materials laboratory. Engineeringtechnicians prepare daily written or digital reports that transmit results ofobservations and test results. Individuals convey results to on-site clientrepresentatives, project managers and field scheduler.
Training is an essential component of this position and individuals withvarying levels of experience are encouraged to apply. Areas of traininginclude topics relative to your responsibilities, as well as cross trainingof other areas to promote future growth and development within ourorganization
A valid driver's license and acceptable driving record in accordance withthe company automobile insurance policy guidelines is required.Additionally, applicants must have a high school diploma (orequivalent). The ability to lift/push/pull up to 100 lbs. is required.
Engineering Technician Level I qualifications & pay rate range -Experience, secondary education, and applicable certifications are a plus.Full-time Engineering Technician Level I are paid between $17.00 and$25.00 per hour. Our offer will be based upon individuals experience andqualifications.
Engineering Technician Level II qualifications & pay rate range - One yearof experience, secondary education, and/or a minimum of one applicablecertification are required for this position. Full-time EngineeringTechnician Level II are paid between $20.00 and $28.00 per hour. Ouroffer will be based upon individuals experience and qualifications.
Engineering Technician Level III qualifications & pay rate range - Fouryears of experience, secondary education, and/or a minimum of twoapplicable certifications are required for this position. Full-timeEngineering Technician Level III are paid between $23.00 and $34.00 perhour. Our offer will be based upon individuals experience and qualifications.
