About our Senior Financial Accounting and Reporting Analyst role:
The Senior Financial Accounting and Reporting Analyst role sits within Sage’s financial accounting, reporting and control team.
The role is key to the production of Sage’s high quality and trusted financial reporting, covering both internal and external reporting, for senior internal and external audiences.
The successful candidate will be required to work from our Cobalt, Newcastle upon Tyne head office 3 days a week.

Key Responsibilities:
Summary of your day-to-day?
As the Senior Financial Accounting and Reporting Analyst, you'll be responsible for producing timely management accounts, preparing consolidated financial statements, and maintaining technical compliance.
You'll work closely with the Strategic Accounting, Reporting, and Analysis team to assess the financial reporting implications of M&A transactions. You'll also be a valued partner for our finance organization, providing expert advice and guidance on technical accounting matters. Additionally, you'll calculate and forecast the Group's share-based payment costs, ensuring full compliance with IFRS 2.
Your contribution here plays a significant role in our comprehensive financial forecasting and reporting efforts.
What we are looking for:
We're seeking a chartered accountant (ACA/ACCA) with robust accounting skills, IFRS expertise, and excellent communication skills. You should have experience working with large organizations and preferably experience in a professional services firm, with an audit background. Excellent communication skills are a must, and the ability to work under tight deadlines while managing multiple stakeholders, both internal and external, is crucial.
