  At Sunrise, our Concierge is responsible for providing excellent hospitality as they are the first impression for all visitors into the Sunrise community. The Concierge will be greeting potential residents, families, visitors, managing both external and internal calls, taking and communicating messages. The Concierge provides an overview of community information to those inquiries in support of the marketing and sales efforts.

  RESPONSIBILITIES & QUALIFICATIONS

  Overnight Concierge

  1 1pm-7am, Monday - Friday

  *Applications without resumes will not be considered.

  Responsibilities:

  • Maintains and keeps desk and entry area neat and organized

  • Collects resident and community’s newspapers and distributes to resident apartments

  • Contacts the Director of Sales (DOS) and Executive Director (ED) or Department Coordinator to meet with

  prospective residents, families or visitors and ensures wait times are minimal

  • Answers incoming telephone calls and resident calls within two-three (2-3) rings with the appropriate

  community greeting message and identification

  • Takes complete messages with pertinent information (name, number, message) as appropriate and

  communicates messages to the intended recipient

  • Offers and provides a community overview to the caller, determines who to forward the caller to and

  notifies the caller who they are being transferred to

  • Manages appointments for residents and family members such as but not limited to transportation, bank, other

  • Creates and maintains marketing and move-in packet inventory as needed

  • Supports the Director of Sales (DOS) by taking and handling initial inquiry calls with potential families and

  residents that encourage and build interest in Sunrise Senior Living

  • Other administrative duties pertaining to the resident move-in process

  • Partners with community team to ensure community is in compliance with OSHA requirements and

  promotion of Risk Management programs and policies; adherence to safety rules and regulations.

  • Actively participates as a member of a team and committed to working toward team goals

  • Demonstrates in daily interactions with others, our Team Member Credo

  • Committed to serving our residents and guests through our Principles of Service

  • Contributes in the overall engagement programs and processes (customer and team member

  engagement)

  • Attends regular meetings; Town Hall, Department Team Meetings, Cross Over, and others as directed.

  Qualifications:

  To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The

  requirements listed throughout this job description are representative of the knowledge, skills, and abilities required.

  • High School degree / GED required; College preferred

  • Ability to work without major oversight

  • Proven 1-2 years customer service experience and skills

  • Ability to handle multiple priorities

  • Possess clear written and verbal skills for effective communication

  • Demonstrates good organizational, time management skills and follow through skills

  • Possess accurate record keeping skills

  • Demonstrates good judgment, problem solving and decision making skills

  • Proficiency in computer skills, Microsoft Office (Windows, Outlook, Excel) and Sunrise applications with the

  ability to learn new applications
