　　Purpose

　　Functions as a professional under the direct and continuous supervision of qualified professional registered nurses and in accordance with established procedures and aseptic principles functions as a scrub assistant in Total Joint and Spine cases to render quality service to patients of all ages and surgeons during operative procedures.What you will do

　　Assists with the preparation of sterile/unsterile supplies and equipment.

　　Collaborate with surgical team to effectively plan out the day.

　　Report safety concerns.

　　Confirm surgical counts with the circulator

　　Minimum qualifications

　　1 year minimum experience in Ortho/Joint Replacement/Spine preferred.

　　High level of physical stamina and ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment

　　Current Basic Life Support (BLS)

　　Strong knowledge of surgical procedures, aseptic techniques, and patient care standards

　　Monday – Friday, No scheduled weekend cases. Rotating Call 7 days/week for Full Time

　　Being part of a dedicated, high-performing Joint Replacement and Spine Team. The Nationally recognized CJRI has dedicated Inpatient Private rooms and OR space including 8 rooms for total joint replacement and spine surgery.

　　This role is per diem
