This role is for 3rd shift
Description:
• Monitors all jobs and activity on the AS400/Mainframe/Distributed servers
• Identifies trends to support problem management and documentation updates
• Responsible for backup and restoration for all MBCI systems as needed
• Prints appropriate reports scheduled and as requested; provides data for IT audits (SOX)
• Assists with IT Support Center calls and tickets; support SLAs
• Analyzes, diagnoses, and resolves system errors, malfunctions, misconfigurations, and job stoppages to maintain services, enhance capabilities, and prevent system outages
• Seeks assistance from technical staff to resolve production issues and escalate system problems as appropriate
• Adheres to computer room security procedures
• Maintains turnover logs, problem logs, tape logs, access logs, and user problem report documents
• Troubleshoots and resolves or assists with resolution of end-user questions or inquiries
• Performs system backups when required

• Performs other duties as may be assigned at management’s discretion
