POSITION ANNOUNCEMENT

　　POSITION: Community Liaison Manager

　　DEPARTMENT: Human Resources

　　LOCATION: Ottumwa

　　SALARY CLASS : Exempt

　　Principle Responsibilities:

　　Act as a liaison between the company and the community

　　Work closely with supervisors and union

　　Maintains records as required

　　Responds in a timely manner to employee problems, questions and concerns

　　General office procedures including handling phone calls and filing

　　Other duties as needed or required

　　Ability to interact with all employees in a tactful manner

　　Work with all aspects of Payroll including verifying employee time, payroll deductions, vacation, etc

　　Recruiting/Hiring production employees for our company

　　Talking to interested people (selling our company to potential candidates)

　　Dealing with Workforce Centers (Job Services)

　　Must follow all compliance guidelines

　　Other duties as needed or required

　　Working with OFCCP Material

　　Working Conditions:

　　Production and maintenance settings

　　Exposure to various chemicals, machinery, and knives

　　Slippery floors, cold temperatures, and loud ambient noise

　　QUALIFICATIONS:

　　Bilingual is a Must. Multi-lingual skills preferred

　　Excellent written and verbal communications skills- Including phone etiquette

　　Organizational skills with the ability to multi task

　　Problem Solver

　　Must be able to demonstrate effective people skills

　　Team Player

　　Computer skills and knowledge of basic office software necessary ((Word, Excel, Access, etc)

　　Trustworthy – Will be handling confidential material must maintain confidentiality

　　Good attendance record (Less than 4 points)

　　Basic with math

　　Able to bend, stoop, and lift 20 lbs.

　　Flexible

　　Prior experience in unionized environment

　　Communication/public relations skills required

　　Data entry accuracy

　　Proficient Grammar skills

　　Must be willing to travel 40%

　　Comments: The schedule for this position is typically Mon - Fri. Weekend work required as scheduled. During Fall Season, Saturdays are typically scheduled.
