As the Communications Sr. Associate you will join a respected and high-performing group treated as trusted counselors on Communications strategy, your focus will be on Technology, but will be expected to share in the support for Product & Experience as needed since both organizations work hand-in-hand to deliver our goals. In addition you will develop and deliver communications strategies that reach across Consumer and Community Banking's Technology and Product & Experience organizations and line of business employees. You'll help to inspire and motivate our teams while on the journey.
Job Responsibilities:
Supporting multiple senior executives with communications needs, including executive messages, site visits, presentations and town halls, in order to connect with their teams and advance business goals.
Creating and executing strategic communications plans, including measurement of success.
Developing and managing communications tactics and channels as needed to support the strategy.
Seeking out and writing interesting and compelling stories with a human connection.
Partnering with internal/external partners to lead innovation, new ideas and better ways of communicating.
Staying current with and providing guidance on emerging communication methods, patterns, techniques and technologies/tools.
Being a great teammate.
Identifying areas of efficiency and ways to execute these responsibilities more simply and effectively.
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills:
3 plus years of internal, corporate and/or executive communications experience, including extensive hands-on writing, editing, project management and presentation building, in technology or financial services; BA/BS in Communications, Marketing, Journalism, Public Relations or related degree
Experience in digital journalism, social media, digital content is desirable
Demonstrated success developing executive-level messages, providing communications counsel to senior management teams, and executing strong communications strategies; experience working with C-suite executives
Organized self-starter, project manager and multi-tasker with a proven ability to track complex and overlapping milestones and manage multiple priorities and urgent deadlines
A creative, innovative and strategic thinker with the ability to inspire confidence from, and to collaborate closely with, teams, internal stakeholders and senior leaders
Outstanding judgment and interpersonal skills, including partnering effectively with executives, peers and other functional groups across the company
High level of independence, energy and integrity, demonstrates respect for a diversity of opinions and styles, and takes accountability and accepts responsibility
Strong ability to take complex concepts and deliver them into simple/digestible communications
Experience with Intranet design, content development, and collaboration and measurement tools
Knowledge of Agile methodology is a plus
Travel is expected 10% of the time
Finalists for this role will be required to complete a written test to verify writing, editing and proofreading skills.
